The Alpine Junior Rangers Program is a primary school program designed to educate students about the wonderful Victorian alpine region.
The program offers primary school teachers a comprehensive resource kit based on the Victorian Essential Learning Standards, an interactive learning experience for students, Grade 5 Alpine Passes and a teacher in service program.
NEW Alpine Junior Ranger Interactive Learning Experience
A virtual Alpine Adventure Trek for primary school children: a fun way for students to discover Victoria’s alpine area on an interactive journey with Muzza, the Leadbeater’s possum as their guide. Muzza, and his friends Spike and Tansy, are preparing for their adventure right now and as soon as they are kitted up and ready to lead the trek a navigation button will appear on this site for children to follow.
NEW for 2008 – The FREE+ Grade 5 Alpine Pass. These passes are only available through schools and offer Victorian Grade 5 students free+ lift tickets or snow play at five Victorian resorts. It is a great way for students to discover our wonderful alpine region with family or friends. The FREE+ Grade 5 Alpine Pass has five coupons, one valid for each resort; Mt Buller, Mt Hotham, Falls Creek, Mt Baw Baw and Lake Mountain. Once your school has validated the Alpine Pass, your students may choose to visit one or all five alpine resorts during the 2008 season.
